Thank you for the offer. I may do that, but first I wish to learn how it works.

How do users get added to Wordpress from the VB installation with VBSSO? I wish to understand how it happens. Does VBSSO copy a user id when they access the Wordpress site, or must it be done manually?

Yes, you are right - vBSSO plugin copies a user id when they access the Wordpress site.

Very keen on this but I see it only supports up to 1.8. Now the last release of 1.8 was back in December 2013.

Do you believe this will work on 1.9?

Thank you for using vBSSO - Your feedback is important to us!
We do expect a supportive release for Magento 1.9 in the next future.

Hi xeagle,
odd problem started occurring recently for all users (mediawiki bridge)... no one can log into the wiki anymore.
the only potential reason is php upgrade to php 5.6.11. i am running the latest version of vbsso.
(nothing changed in the settings, so not sure why this started)..

see log below:

Update 1: Downgraded to php 5.5, and its working again. so looks like a php version issue...
ndahiya

ps: still hoping for mediawiki 1.25 support....

hi Xeagle,
does vbsso v1.5 fully support php 5.6? 1.4.16 did not work (as above), and the changelog does not mention this as a fix...

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a proper vBSSO activity with 5.6 php for Mediawiki. You should do an downgrade to the previous php version (please review additional information at http://vbsso.com/getting-started/vbs...ted-platforms/)

xeagle,
the supported platform page incorrectly mentions mediawiki 1.25 as working. however, only upto mediawiki 1.24 works with 1.0.2.

php 5.5 does work, but is not listed as supported version.

PLEASE update to work with php 5.6 and mediawiki 1.25/1.26... Thanks!!

I've got a problem with VBSSO's Wordpress plugin: it never displays the avatars and if I go to the link http://mysite.com/vb/vbsso/vbsso.php...5540cc9e3c7c77 I get a 303 See Other error.

How to fix this?
