If you follow the instructions, it works. I've posted screenshots and links to those screenshots a number of times in this thread, read through it.

Any chance of getting a version made with the class facebook changed to a different class name? It seems all the facebook mods conflict with each other by calling the same class and you cant do that. So I was wondering if anyone had fixed this simply be renaming the class? I have to look throught it but it would be easier for the person who made it to do :)

Bumping threads is inappropriate. If you need to get ahold of the dev, PM them.

Go through the settings, make sure they're correct, because that is where your problem is.
Make sure you've pointed the app properly, as has been described a number of times.

Just a quick confirmation, clarification:
Short tags are pretty standard on servers , but there is a workaround for this:

Step 1: Open up fblogin.php and includes/functions_fbconnect.php in your text editor
Step 2: look for
PHP Code:

<?

Step 3: change to
PHP Code:

<?php

step 4: re-upload both files to your webserver where they belong.

Please note:
This WON'T affect most people (short tags are very, very common), but it may affect you.
How do you know if you're affected? Go to yourforumurl/fblogin.php . If it spits out text gibberish, you need to follow those steps. I'd upload fixes to that, but then we get into the whole redistribution of code garbage and I'd really rather not go there.

Also, another tip, because it's come up a lot in the past few months on installs I've done.

This is the #1 cause of all problems. Follow this exactly. Don't set it to http://www.forumdomain.com/ if your forum url is http://www.forumdomain.com/forum/

Common Problem #2?

This should probably be set to your forum URL.

I've included some screenshots of a working app configuration, since this seems to be the biggest hangup right now. The app is setup @ http://www.tvonthebrain.com/ with no trailing forum, or anything, but all you have to do is correct that where necessary, and you're good to go!

are you sure that Session Secret Whitelist Exception has to be set to disabled as shown in screenshots?

I have
* Checked File Permissions and set them to 755
* changed the php short tags into standard ones(<?php)
* Correctly Setup the Facebook App with following settings.

Canvas Callback URL: http://forums.themobileninjas.com/
Connect URL: http://forums.themobileninjas.com
Base Domain: forums.themobileninjas.com
Canvas URL: http://apps.facebook.com/mobileninjas/ ( notice site open correctly while using this link
FBML/iframe: iframe
* Setup Fbconnect product in Vbulletin and mapped default templates
* Modified all templates files as said in INSTALL.html

But nothing happens when I click on on Fbconnect button:|

IF you follow the instructions, this app will work, if you don't, it won't. Pretty simple.
Read the instructions, follow them.
