yes I am using a re-direction rule in .htaccess file, shall correct the same :) Regards, |
I must say this looks like a wonderful addon to me, I'm kinda sad to see .htaccess files being used as I'm not sure lighthttpd supports these in any way.
I'm wondering if anyone could enlighten me with some information around that, how to configure it and such. I was planning on getting vBSEO Rewrite URLs, but I guess that one also heavely uses the mod_rewrite. Thanks a lot for your responses and keep up the great work out here! |
Danny.C, jd_sa_bowler,
PM sent Yorixz, you, can use it with lighttpd, details are a few pages back ;) https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...tpd#post997175 (vBSEO can also be running with lighttpd) |

How do I have it save the site map files to the root folder since this is where google searches for them? I know this is probably a stupid question or already been answered (could not find with a search) but could someone please point out the error of my ways :)

dwbro1,
although files are physically stored in vbseo_sitemap/data/ folder, you still can access them in forum root using mod_rewrite rules (you should create .htaccess file as descirbed for this). |
This is one of the most - useful - plugins for vBulletin. Shall be in all time top 10 list. Very good work.
