Hello!

My Problem is

I have

VB 3.8.1
MGC_CHATBOX_EVO 2.1.0

It works perfect, perhaps i install ibproarcade
I make the instrucktion

Finally, if you are using te option to display the chatbox in a var, edit the ARCADE template and add :

$mgc_cb_evo_var

where you want the chatbox to appear.

But the Chatbox is not display in ibproarcade!

What is the Problem??

Not sure if this bug listed is what you have (which is already fixed for next release): Forum left to right align not taken into account. Scroll up top and you'll see the list. ;)

All templates are variable width.

This is a clean install, no upgrade.

That "bug" does sound likely to fix my problem.

I have an off-web Test forum which I can use to pre-test the next release if that is any help?

Hello,

I am looking to install you chatbox as an item inside of a private forum. I am not sure if this is possible? Like for supporting members only to be able to use it. Or can I have it above my forums m its just my specified users such as supporting members would be the only ones to see it?

Also Is a new version coming on soon where a person should wait for it? Or is the current one stable enough for us?

Well this is because you have set notifications to be separated from chats !

Even if you had no notifications active, the chatbox can't know if the notifications are on or not as it's per notification activation.

Some user reported this problem since the ibproarcade upgrade.

Have you updated the ibproarcade files after the upgrade ?

You have nothing perhaps but as there might be plugins for notifications (like the one for ibproarcade available with the Branding Free version) I can't know wether or not I should show the right column.

To avoid this problem, disable chats/notifications separation.

Yes i have a big upgrade of my vb.

upgrade to vb 3.8.1
upgrade ibproarcade to ibProArcade v2.6.8+
upgrade to mgc 2.1.0

When installing it, I think it may have timed out. IT is just saying:

Importing Product, Please Wait...

[:]

and the browser says down the bottom: done

So I don't think it is doing anything. What should I do?

I got it finally to install, but now I noticed some things are in French o_O even tho I installed the lang file.

eg.

Manage commands
Manage channels
General options
Display and position
Chats formatting
Chats display
Gestion des notifications
Advanced options
Command options
Voir les log
Scripts d'importation
Mise à jour compteurs

and other areas as well.

I found another bug: in Commands list: the commands are duplicated twice:

It seems that option Align usernames and chats not working on Firefox 3.0.6. (chat ver. 2.2.0)
I try on IE 6, Safari & Chrome and there is OK!

Update: I got the branding free version, updated and now much is fixed. However I have noticed when you click on command options, inside the text inside the boxes are in french, eg. Bannissement de la chatbox MGC Evo

I also still have duplicates in the manage commands.

Upgrading from version 2.1.0 to ver. 2.2.0 creates a problem with Safari browser. Chats are not displayed correctly by time, they come out messed up. Although Firefox seems to be acting ok in Mac OS X. Any thoughts?

Turning off "Activation of the new thread warning in the chatbox" and "Activation of the new post warning in the chatbox" gets around the issue - but obviously no notifications..
