That's really confusing... It shouldn't have anything to do with the php file as nothing was changed to pull the header. I don't understand though how one file could be showing something different like that when it's the same template. You could maybe try looking for this in your myvbindex.php file:
eval("\$index_header = \"".gettemplate('index_header')."\";"); And replace it with: eval("\$index_header .= \"".gettemplate('index_header')."\";"); Hopefully that'll work. :) |
no such luck

Heya Tigga,
I just upgraded to 2.3.0 final from 2.3.0 RC3 and the news stopped showing on the front page. Soooo.. I decided to upgrade from MyVBIndex 3.1 to 3.2. Now the news and polls show on the main page if you're not logged in but there's no HTML. If you sign in there's no news and no poll shown. I'm thinking this may have something to do with the high number of the forums (news is 106 and polls are 108)... Dunno.. very strange.. |
Try running the template installer that's included in the myvb_install.php file. For some reason vBulletin deletes all templates that aren't there by default, so that's why I included the template only part in the install file. ;)

nm... I fixed it running your install file.. hehe.. Yes.. I'm stupid. :P
|
Hehe... No problem at all. I'm still not sure why vBulletin deletes templates like that (other than the fact that it's easier for them to do it that way). I guess there's no reason for them to make things harder on themselves though since they don't support hacked boards.

Very nice hack sir!

Great, the new updates are awesome!
Keep it on! |

Did you insert the text into your myvbindex.php and did you also turn it on in your admincp panel?
