Removed everything, including the settings and settingsgroup records that the uninstall doesn't get rid of, and any file modifications. Did the v3.4 install from scratch, used vbhlindex. Still get this: Fatal error: Call to undefined function: get_bbarraycookie() in /home2/www/bushwhacked/index2.php on line 134 |
I have a small problem maybe you guys can help. I have installed VBHome 3.3 and have it up and running. The problem I have is loging in. I you try to login at my hompage URL, it says it can't find page, but if you login at the fourms url it loads the fourms page. I have it set to where none of my fourm can be seen until members log in. I would like to change that for my homepage only, but have had no success in geting the login to work. I only receive the Vbulletin login box, not the one intergrated into VBhome. I am on VB 2.2.8. Thanks in advance.
PS same thing happens if a pm pops up from the forums page while viewing the home page, weird................. |
Right.. I got rid of it all, did a clean start and got the same error.
Database error in vBulletin 2.2.6: Invalid SQL: UPDATE thread SET articleid= WHERE threadid=2993 mysql error: You have an error in your SQL syntax near 'WHERE threadid=2993' at line 1 mysql error number: 1064 meh.. i am off to the pub. :) |
I had 3.3 working pretty good so i decided to go to 3.4. I kept getting a mysql error when i tried to uninstall 3.3 so i start over completely with new database , new vbb files and now I get this when i try to open the vb lite home page.
Warning: ChDir: No such file or directory (errno 2) in /home/plmtech/public_html/index.php on line 12 Me probably going back to 3.3 :) Thanks Teck man. This is truely a great hack for me and what i needed. :) Mark |

Will upgrading to v3.4 erase any of the home_templates already installed? I guess what i am asking is what is the correct way to upgrade to the next version?
|
Smoothie, no, the 2 templates are in file printarticle.php.
About the templates, if they are customized no they will not be erased. But everyone stay put, i'm making an upgrade also. :) About the error get_bbarraycookie, you have to delete the poll thread and everything will be ok. Relax, guys, everything is working great. The only changes done are related to article code so there is no reason for the poll not to work like before. Have a little faith and work on it, v3.4 is a great change. ;) |
