Problem solved.
Apparently you REALLY do need the GD library installed and operating. On my windows server all I had to do was go into the php.ini file and remove the comment tag from the line that reads: extension=php_gd2.dll and then restart the IIS server. |

Hi,
This mod looks great, cant wait to get it up and running. I have a couple of questions though. My site is hosted, should I use a http prefix to define the location of my forums. Can I remove the link to your blog from the templates? Happy to donate etc if necessary. |
Hmmm, just being looking at VB 3.7 and it looks pretty impressive. Anyway, the image facility in VB 3.7 seems pretty similar to this mod. Wondering whether this is now intergrated as part of vb 3.7 and if so whether worth installing or waiting for 3.7 release and updating.
Anyone provide some guidance? |
Is there any way to control who can view the pictures? Like permission levels? I have a closed forum, and it seems a unregistered user can view images. I can't find where to get this off unless I deny them access to the forum itself?

I have to agree, I really want to get this mod on the go now. I am hoping that VB 3.7 will save me this problem although I wonder how long it will be to the first stable release. I installed this package before I realised that it wouldn't run on a hosted server.:erm: |
I use this product, without issues...I have over 2500 images on two different vbsites. I have no issues of storage, bandwidth or cpu exceed limit. I see no reason to host externally.
To hide this from unregistered members just add <if></if> conditionals before & after in your navbar edit. |
Installed and working great, a wonderful addition for the users on our boards
Would like to note, I did have a minor problem, of my own making, and I would like to thank Ranma2k for his kind personal assistance in helping me reach a solution THANKS! |

I have my vBull on a separate hosting server to all my other files, and my bandwidth THERE is a lot less, (in the 10's of GB's) compared to my other servers which have TB's of bandwidth. But if it is going to be integrated into VB3.7....ahhh lol |
