There is a xsrf bug in this hack, and i can set thanks or groans by <script src="post_thanks_add.php...blablabla..."></script> on my domain if user cookies was set for another site/domain. And we can use cookies from another site with this hack.
It's enough to give link to this page to use this bug.
May be the best solution is to use additional http X-header for ajax-requests.

But the current situation is the info is piling up for each user who posted in the thread, so by the last post the info is displayed mulitple times.

The patch would also nullify these "template hooks" replacment somewhere while executing the plugin!

I haven't installed the patch yet, but I'm also facing that the thanks box is being displayed on every post of the thread !! isn't being solved by the patch?

Best Regards :)

So what is the fix for my problem and everyone elses? Look a the default style? What in the world does that fix? I dont even use the default style so if its working there I could care less I need it to work on my skin I'm using for my members. I inserted that hook into the legacy I have the thank you button back but it doesnt do anything other than disapear once clicked. Still nothing in the member info UGGHHHHH what the heck is going on and dont tell me look at the default

I got it to work had to redo the whole template yet again. Anyhow now the thank you button is on the right of the post I want it on the left how do I do that?

The problem is that you are using a custom style - that is not up-to-date with vb's latest changes.

They added a bunch of Template Hooks in some templates. This hack uses them. You need to compare what your changes look like and what vb's default template looks like and compare them. Add to your template the missing parts.
