I've just installed this mod, but can't see which URL I should be submitting to google webmaster tools. Can someone please tell me how / where to obtain the correct .xml URL?

AdminCP > vBSEO > vBSEO Sitemap Reports > Show Reports List > Sitemap Generator History > Find most recent sitemap from column an click View details > Log in to Google Webmaster Tools Dashboard and select Sitemaps > Highlight or manually type in each URL listing of your sitemap(s) under vBSEO Sitemap Generator History into the Google Webmaster Tools Sitemaps page > Submit all the sitemaps you have listed > Done

Example:

Google My Sitemaps http://www.yoursite.com
copy and past in the blank field /forum/sitemap_1.xml.gz and hit Submit Sitemap

Repeat as necessary for all additional sitemaps.

bizarre issue in that sitemap generator is only generating a single file, not multiple like expected. the forum is fairly large, with over 5million posts, and several hundred forum areas.

im not filtering/excluding any forums, i have show posts and show threads set to YES.

the only output i get when running the script is :
Code:

[homepage] [4,618.9Kb mem used] [0s (+0s)]
[SECTION START] forumdisplay [4,619.3Kb mem used] [0s (+0s)]
[forumdisplay] forum_id: 1, total threads: 0, pages: 1 [4,620.4Kb mem used] [0s (+0s)]
[forumdisplay] forum_id: 2, total threads: 0, pages: 1 [4,654.7Kb mem used] [0s (+0s)]
[forumdisplay] forum_id: 19, total threads: 0, pages: 1 [4,655.8Kb mem used] [0s (+0s)]
[forumdisplay] forum_id: 5, total threads: 73, pages: 4 [4,660.0Kb mem used] [0s (+0s)]
[forumdisplay] forum_id: 10, total threads: 1627, pages: 82 [4,666.8Kb mem used] [0s (+0s)]
[SECTION START] showthread [4,776.9Kb mem used] [0s (+0s)]
[create sitemap file] filename: sitemap_1.xml.gz, number of urls: 11217 [4,660.0Kb mem used] [4s (+4s)]
[create sitemap index] filename: sitemap_index.xml.gz, number of sitemaps: 1 [4,663.0Kb mem used] [4s (+0s)]
Sitemap has been created. Click here to return [4,661.5Kb mem used] [5s (+1s)]

i truly expected it to create more sitemap files, and find more items to index.

i am also running vB SEO on vb 3.6.5

AdminCP > vBulletin Options > vBSEO Google/Yahoo Sitemap Generator > Scroll down and find the vBSEO Sitemap Interface Access Password box > Your password is listed there or you can reset it

Does anyone have any idea what is causing to happen? The AskJeeves spider reports this same message every day. My robots.txt does not exclude any spiders. It's set to allow all. Yahoo Slurp, Google, MSN, etc.. all index the site just fine. This is just a problem with AskJeeves.

Upgrade Instructions
============================

(1) Follow the installation/upgrade instructions provided in the docs/readme.html file.

(2) For versions of vBulletin 3.6.x only: Open "Schedule Manager" in the vBulletin Admin Control Panel (admincp); Remove existing scheduled task for Sitemap Generator if you have one.
Note: The new task will be automatically setup when you import the XML product file.
vBulletin does not have an option to delete a scheduled task. So, how do you recommend removing the existing task for the sitemap generator for those of us planning on performing an upgrade?
