Hi,

Its been a long time since I checked this thread out but I know DJ still does a great job updating the definitions. So I was planning on upgrading all my definitions to the latest version. I can see though that it still say "Last Update: 10 Mar 2009" at the top. How do I get hold of all updated definitions? Installed the master xml 6 month ago. Do you have an updated master xml so I can just wipe all definitions I have and reimport a new xml will all definitions?

The Master XML gave off an error during import with the last 2.5 version of AME., so I'm having to go through each one, one and a time, and update them. With over 200 defs, it's going to take me a little while longer.

On a side note, it looks like I got a definition for Google Maps working.

Is there any chance for gametrailers to work again ? I have hundreds of users trying to "kill" me because it's not working anymore :D

P.S. Also, YouTube videos don't have the FullScreen button anymore... Is there a way to fix that ? I see inside the definitions it still has the "<param name="allowFullScreen" value="true">" but it doesn't work...

I just updated GameTrailers yesterday. Will release as part of a larger update this week, possibly. I'm only to the H's in the list so far, but I will likely find a stopping point somewhere and do a partial release, as well as skipping a few letters to take a look at YouTube, too.

rss feed question - i want to import video rss feeds into vb using the vb rss importer. how could i get each video to embed as a post - instead of the thumbmail that links to video on remote site?

i want each video in feed to embed as own post

Usually the {rss:link} variable is the direct link to the video page. In most cases wrapping it in AME BBCode takes care of the embedding for you.

Code:

[AME]{rss:link}[/AME]

Okay guys, Leet Tube.com was changed to GotGame.com somewhere along the line. GotGame will not be able to be supported, as the embed code is unworkable. If they want to have 10,000 characters in they're embed code, that's they're business. But I can't reference what isn't in the HTML in whole or even in part. And I'll only hunt for it for so long.

Great Mod, just installed and it looks like it's saved me a LOT of time making custom BBcodes(which was driving me crazy) but I'm still scratching my head try to get docstoc working.

Wondering if anyone can make a xml for http://www.docstoc.com ? This site allows users to upload and host pdf, pss, and a few other Documents type files... I've been trying to make some custom BBcode to get it done but I'm not having much success using variables.

Thanks for all the great work and support that has already taken place here,

Tom
