I have this hack installed on my website and each day I have roughly 15 people on, and my site comes to a grinding halt. My webhosting company is dreamhost, and they are continually blaming my site's slow speed and 500 Internal errors on the shoutbox. I have a hard time believing them since our usage is not that high. My question is, could dreamhost be correct in telling me that our shoutbox is killing our site? Even with such a limited amount of people on it?

Startlogic is the best host I have found in years for VB , and the support is like a flash .

Installed , beautiful , but instead chat appear on the home forum , how can I make it appear on each forum category ? Or at lest on one category?

i think it is not the chatbox.. but i could be wrong.

There are some options to reduce load such as reducing the refresh, etc..., but in my case they had little effect.
On a new server though it's whizzing along and performing brilliantly.

Well we have a new server and the chatbox really has some page issues with IE. Only runs fine with Firefox. Would be nice if that could be fixed.

I have tried to search this mod with no luck...

I have a lot of guests(bots) "Viewing ChatBox Archive". Why? And what can be done to reduce that?
