Diminish this value if you have problems with the chatbox size with your style or if you simply want to change this size. (In pixels)

Drop the number down until the scroll bar disappears ;)

I have a problem with the scrollbars with some of my members - not me personally since I am on a 24 inch widescreen at 1680 x 1050... with another monitor right next to it...

and another admin is also reporting the ajax error on the latest version of vbulletin...

The screen displays "Loading.." if you use firefox. I was facing the same issue, but used IE and didnt get "Loading".

Solution -

I was getting the error because of the "NoScript" plugin used by me, to block advertisments.

You will need to allow the yahoo server site :).

Well you should have carefully read the readme, there are uninstall instructions that were written for users to read them ;)

Remove the chatbox files from your ftp and things will get back to normal (especially the one in the includes/xml directory).

Have you try to setup the chatbox as loading yui files locally instead of the yui server ?

To fix your mistake, remove the chatbox files from your forum. Especially the one in the includes/xml directory.

Custom avatars? This doesn't allow/do that. It uses the users avatars.

I have also reported from my usersthat somebody still have this AJAX error... mostly on Opera. I use VB 3.8.0 and latest Chat...

I have a problem with the BBcode-Option.

I set the usergroup permission to this so just Mods and Admins can use BBcode, but at all usergroups will show it up.

And if I disable BBcode, than a user change his options, the shoutbox will show off for him and cannot be set active anymore.

So, for reminder ...I have tow problems:
1- I can't see any thing written on the chat box . but only (Loading message)
2- The under scroll bar problem as shown on the picture above.

There is an option in the usercp to select wether the chatbox is hidden or not. Are you sure it's not because they have hidden it ?

1- Have you mod_security enabled ? (ask Ranger187 for info on the subject or search this thread)
2- Might an issue with right to left not taken into account by the chatbox (which is the bug list so that's ok no need to report it again it's noted)

About the error, have you applied the stated fix in the thread ?

You have to upload all files. That info tells you that one mgc file is missing.

The file you attempted to import only contains phrases and none of the settings required. You will be unable to make a new language with this file.

Yes, I tried myswelfe if the BBcode option is set off, the option in the usercp don't works.

If you have BBcode off and you klick save in the usercp options, the Shoutbox is off and cannot be activate again. It set themself to off.

And if BBcode on, all users can use BBcode, it don't accept the userpermission.

I noticed this also although I don't think I would gas as far as considering it a BIG bug. lol

OK I found a big problem here.

I was in holidays when upgrading the Chatbox to 2.1.0 and it was working very well. Now that I'm back at my home, where my Internet connection is quite slower than where I was before, now my ChatBox is only loading and loading without being able to see anything on it.

I also asked some people on my site and everybody who have a 56k connection have the same problem than mine.

All the other users don't have problem.

I have to mention that we've tried everything. Cleared cookies, cleared cache, refreshed pages many times, tried other browsers, other computers and still nothing.

Is there a way to resolve that?

P.S Using branding free version.

Well you have to carefully follow the install instructions, you are not supposed to create a new language but import over the existing one :)

Images shall be uploaded in all the misc directories of your styles.
