nothing... :(

do you know how to add content to the Custom Blocks???

Ghostspy 04-11-2004 03:10 AM

yea thats a good question i am just trying to figure out what i do when i install this mod how are people supposed to view the forums if i have to overwrite the index.php for the forum with the one for the portal. b/c people cant view the whole forum then.

^^^ you dont over-write the FORUMS index.php... VBA goes in your PUBLIC_HTML directory...

the FORUMS should be like: /public_html/forums/ so your forums will show up as http:// yoursite.com/forums

so now if you have the VBA in the public html directory you just install it - then delete you old INDEX.HTM file... then it comes up nicely...

i still need to know how to get content into these custom blocks!!!

Most people put their forums into a directory called /forums or /community or into another folder, if youve plraced vBulletin into your root diretory.

Step one rename your current index.php to forums.php
Step 2 rename adv_index.php to index.php
Step 3 AdminCP > vBulletin Options > Forums Home Page Options > Script Name for Forum Home Page > change to whatever you originaly named index.php to with out the .php
so if you changed it to forums, it now read forums in that box
