I like this hack very much.....but only one question : how do I disable "Currently Active Users" ?? I just want to show Users who has visited today only, is this possible ?

Not without changing the auto template settings and editing your forumhome template.

Any idea why some of the usernames are bold?? Doesnt seem to make any sense per usergroup or anything. Moderators are listed ok. Any help would be appreciated....

Paul, is there a way to add the option to have it not show if there are no posts made for that day yet? I did a conditional so the block doesn't show if no one has posted yet. It shows after the first person posts but a setting for that would actually be better. Just a suggestion, sir. ;)
