oh well i installed that tool .. but looks like i need the right configurations man. Its still dont work. And with that plugin i chan choose player like WinAmp and then it act likes a remote-controle for WinAmp or other players like MediaPlayer.

But how does it work with the Channels in vBRadio. In internet Explorer all works fine.

e.g. something like http://my-domain.com/forum/vbradio.p...=mychannel.asx

Does anyone know what the bits after the vbradio.php would be?

Nobody got any idea's with this one?

Really do like this hack - I take it that it will make the transition to 3.5 at some point soon?

BTW I've not had any problems using it with Firefox.

It was ported already : https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...light=vb+radio

Toneboy 10-01-2005 03:06 PM

Seems to work okay, but it did create some errors when I tried to reinstall it on 3.5. Perhaps some upgrade instructions could be added to the readme file?

BTW which files should be deleted after installation?

rrokdoka 10-08-2005 05:17 AM

I tried following the instructions and i guess vbradio.xml can not be found and it gives me this message in the control panel "vBRadio 1.0 Installation
Error. vbradio.xml located in directory '' was not found. Please make sure it is uploaded then press the submit button below." I put the file in the admincp folder, any help would be appreciated!

Raydar 02-06-2006 05:35 PM

Great Idea.

Do I have to program all the stations into it? Or does it come with some pre-programmed?

Thanks

Reg

Raydar 02-06-2006 06:12 PM

Installed Z.T

Great Hack Mate. You Da Guru!

Raydar 02-09-2006 05:03 AM

Two of my users said that no sound would come through. However one of these users fixed it by resetting his Norton security settings. Just thought I'd mention this in case other people here have similar problems.

My other user still can't get the audio. Are there any other known reasons why the radio may not work on some computers?

So far I only have one person saying it is not working.

The hack is great. I also noticed that firefox only plays certain stations (either that or they take ages to load).

I.E plays everything.

Cheers

Reg

I keep getting an error when trying to update the databases in step 2.
Can someone tell me which files to take out/delete?
Maybe then I can bypass this error.
Thanks!

Fantastic Hack, and I am useinf it on my site, I just want to know that up til now it can only play all streams or formats which arecompactable to MS MediaPlayer, I have add some Television station also which play well, but some work with winamp format. My question is is there a plugin in I need for wimamp Video, cause some station can not be seen.

Raydar 03-17-2006 10:29 AM

Hey Ruler68jg,

TV station?

Could you elaborate on this please? I noticed that some radio stations have short video adverts but I didn't know this could also have streaming video.

Where can I find the stations?

Thanks

Reg

Ruler68jg 03-17-2006 08:28 PM

well there are many international televison channels which send live boradcast, and when one visits lets say a canadien televison channels website it will show that thay have "LIVE BORADCAST" well as we say in UK "bob's your uncle" so if you click on the icon it starts showing you the tele by automatcly opening you windows Media player or Winamp player or RealPlayer ect.

So with this hack which is provided one can also insert the server address's of the streams and as well as a radio you can have a televesion boradcast as well ...isnt it smart.

You've probably tried this, but either uninstall it and try again, or if that hasn't worked, it may have something to do with unlocking the MySQL tables.

Sometimes when I've gone to add features, I've had to get my ISP to set the server permissions, to allow VBulletin to create tables.

Hope that helps.

I have the exact same problem. Everything is uploaded, but it says it can't find the file. So weird. I have installed other hacks no problem. But this just says it can't find it?

Anyone have a solution for this?

yea if you go to the file on your server and try and view it, you see nothing. but if you try and edit it, you get the full file.

i havent figured it out yet. the file is there before the download and obviously after, it just wont show up to view it.

i wish someone would help.
