There are two places that check the post count.

One is in the application type.

The other is in the application position.

If you changed the post count in the application type, it has no effect on the position.

Double check the 'application position' post count setting.

oh thanx forgot about that spot lol my bad.

tomlarose 07-22-2012 09:58 PM

Is there an easy way I can get a direct link to the app it's self instead of getting a list of apps (I have only one) and then having to hit start?

At this time there is no way to link directly to an application.

zhai 07-25-2012 07:10 PM

Is there any export/import function for the questions?
Also, can the applicant attach some files inside the form?

At this time, the answer is no to both questions.

If you want to remove the footer text, all I ask is that you make some sort of donation using the 'Support Developer' link in the top post. The amount is up to you.

edrecovery 07-30-2012 02:56 PM

When i go to application-forms.php, I'm getting the following message.

recovery_hope, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

But when I click on community, then on staff application, I'm able to access the applications.

You can not access application-forms.php directly without an application type id. Try
application-forms.php?appid=1

Ya I figured that out now, something happened to the application messing it up basically the same time we upgraded to 4.2 so I figured it was the version! My apologies!

No offense but in my opinion DeadlyDuckling it's really not cool to advertise in someone else's thread even if you didn't create that.. Plus this "Advanced Application Forms" for vBulletin is one of the best I have ever encountered for creating Applications! Has so many key features and nhawk the creator/coder is always taking ideas from us and adding a lot of them as features in the free version!

datoneer 09-03-2012 02:21 PM

One member said that there are some errors and also i received only his username in my email account without any other info

datoneer 09-03-2012 02:30 PM

Update to new version fixed the problem

All I ask is for a donation of some type and I will PM instructions on how to remove the branding copyright.

dagg929 11-16-2012 02:29 AM

Any way I could get it to, once someone applies, post that application in an appropriate forum? Does this have that feature?

Awesome, Installed, rated and donated.

Mr_Running 11-17-2012 08:07 PM

I seem to have a little issue with the Edit Question --> Answer Type

I can not select these...

Single Selection (Radio Button)
Multiple Choice (Checkbox)
None - This is a Header Phrase

I noticed it when I tried to select None - This is a Header Phrase

If it helps I am on vb 4.2.0 Patch 3.

I can't duplicate that using the same vB version and IE9.

What browser are you using?

Mr_Running 11-17-2012 09:36 PM

I usually use FireFox my current version is 16.0.2

Yes, it works in IE9 :) I will use this for now but it would be good if it worked in firefox. Thanks.

Edit: Feature Requests...In regards to the Question or Header Phrase where we Enter the question to ask the member or the header phrase for this section of the application.
1) Option to use bbcode. My reason is I have a long question...actually a statement and it currently does not leave any line spaces.
I may also want to bold some text...etc. 2) Also the ability to have a URL link would be cool. :)

I did test it with Firefox 16.0.2 and found less of a problem in the admin area than there is in the forum based editing tool. However, there is nothing wrong with the input syntax for the radio buttons so I have to conclude that this is a bug in Firefox and there's nothing I can do about that. Firefox seems to be using the 'id' or 'value' for the radio buttons as a basis for some sort of ordering, which it shouldn't.

I'll consider your suggestions for a future release. In the mean time, you can use HTML tags in your questions.

Mr_Running 11-18-2012 05:36 PM

Yes, I figured it was a browser issue and if I stay way from adding radio buttons with my users...it will not be a problem. Thanks :)

BBCode would be easier in a future release
but I can work with the HTML tags. Thanks again. :)

It looks like you have a question that expects a checkbox answer to be defined but you haven't defined any answers for the checkboxes.
