That one just requires importing the product, it should fix commands however that's a beta and i havent tested it due to my lack of access to a webserver and the fact im halfasleep.

i suggest you download the very first version of the GCBOS which is GCBOS_0.6.4.zip

Because the latest readme tells you f-all on how to install i had to use the README file of the v0.6.4 and works great:

-Step 1
--Upload the contents of the upload folder to the root directory of your forum.

-Step 2
--Import product-gcbos in your acp (admin control pannel).

-Step 3
--Populate the user group permissions in the acp under Usergroups->Usergroup Manager->{your_group}->GCBOS

-Step 4
--Open the acp once again for GCBOS to display you need to add two template hooks first open headinclude and scroll to the bottom.
--Add "{vb:raw template_hook.headinclude}" (without the quotes to the end of the template save the template. Next open FORUMHOME
--and search for "<!-- /main -->" (without the quotes and add "{vb:raw template_hook.gcbos_display}" above (without the quotes)
--gcbos can be displayed on any page with this hook in ("{vb:raw template_hook.gcbos_display}").

Step 5
--Enjoy

-Paso 1
- Subir el contenido de la carpeta de carga en el directorio raíz de su foro.

-Paso 2
- Producto de importación-gcbos en la ACP (Panel de control de administración).

Paso 3
- Rellenar los permisos de usuario en el grupo ACP en el marco de Usuarios-> Administrador de Grupo de Usuarios-> (los grupos que usted quiera que usen el chat) -> GCBOS

-Paso 4
- Abrir la ACP, una vez usted necesita agregar y modificar dos plantilla .
A- La primera es headinclude y valla hasta el fondo.
- Añadir "{vb:raw template_hook.headinclude}" (sin las comillas al final de la plantilla. de guardar a la plantilla.
B- FORUMHOME Es la Siguiente plantilla a modificar.
– busque donde dice "<!-- / main ->
- Añadir "{vb:raw template_hook.gcbos_display}" (sin las comillas y añadir por encima ) de guardar a la plantilla.

- Opcional - gcbos se pueden mostrar en cualquier página con este
("{vb:raw template_hook.gcbos_display}").

To those who have the Loading... error, try uninstalling the vB4 Supercharged plugin. I think it's conflicting with this plugin.

guys, i had the same loading error, it was because of the Members who have Visited mod. i disabled it, then shoutbox loaded.... just a heads up

Install:
-Upload the contents of the upload folder to your webserver
-Import product-gcbos.xml in your admincp
-Set usergroup permissions under Usergroups->Usergroup Manager->{your_group}->GCBOS in the acp
-Insert <!-- {SHOUTBOX} --> into the template you want it to display GCBOS in (EG FORUMHOME, FORUMDISPLAY). In FORUMHOME i would suggest placing GCBOS above "<!-- / main ->" or at the bottom of the navbar template to display GCBOS globally.



Im not sure how this could conflict with other products the way the template is rendered now it literally using a str_replace on the <!-- {SHOUTBOX} --> and </head> tags to prevent this happening :)

Yeah to my knowledge these errors are fixed i shall test them some time tomorrow or later today :)

Okay it is showing on my end but no text enters the box when I type something and hit submit. I can type something and hit submit but it just doesn't show anything from there? Am I missing something here?

Can you please share with me how you fixed this? I guess it's because I have the name of adminstrator bold as a mark-up but I would like to keep it like this.

Another question: In the first post, it stays that you have to use the messageid to delete a chat. How do I know what the messageid is of a specific chat? I don't see a number anywhere. Thank you in advance!

Very nice work on this mod so far mate, however I would suggest wrapping the forum description in an if clause to prevent the little gray bar from appearing when there is no notice though, looks a lot neater that way.

Not sure on the message ID part for the other you need to update all your HTML markup codes from vb3 to vb4. I use this for the admin and just change the color per group but the same code.

2), Go to Site Name / URL / Contact Details
3), Changing FORUM URL from HTTP://forum.xxxx.com to forum.xxx.com
4), Chat box no longer works!

Why is the HTTP at front needed? I wish for people to use both http and https.. hence I removed the http. Any help, please! Third time I'm asking, and no one replies to my question.

u install it first time on ur forum thats why it work fine . but next time when u upgrade your forum to new version then u see only loading....

When you uninstall the mod it does not seem to remove the GCBOS template, you could try uninstalling the mod, manually removing the template and then reinstalling?
