Does this work with 3.7.X?? Or is there a version for it? I've looked around to no avail. Thanks!

In the description it has

Also when I typed in my username and password in my usercp and clicked saved, nothing happen except username and password are save there. Was anything else suppose to happen? |
I am getting a file error everytime I try to extract the zip file, change directory, rename, move zip file, redownload, etc.
Windows says, "There is already a file with the same name as the folder name you specified. Specify a different name." |
I get a blank screen after i add my username and password into the edit options oart of my site inside the usercp.
|
I'm getting the same message as some others:

First off, thanks to the developer. This is a great mod and looking forward to future updates.
During my testing during install, I posted a quick "Check this out... [URL]" tweet. Within a few minutes, I garnered a complaint about how it looked like a non-descript marketing message (which I agree). I customized the message a bit, but it will certainly show up in related searches for my field. I'm concerned that if it catches on, it might alienate some Twitterers. As the site owner, I'm not going to tweet my own horn, but what if others do and do it often. Sure it'll garner some traffic, but might cause some brushback. The inclusion of titles will resolve this, but how are people making out with the current version. Any negative feedback from your audience or the greater Twitter community? |
Is it possible to make it so the title of the thread is posted instead of "check this out"?
|

The issue is whether "generic" tweets could adversely affect you? The developer mentioned a future version that will use thread titles. This mod will officially become a killer mod once that's available.:D |
Quote:
No, atm it's not possible! |
Something more specific to your site. "Check this out" is too generic. I've gone with Informative [myForumTopic] @[mytwitter account] URL.
For example, let's say your site was regarding Baseball. Informative Baseball forum post @baseballforums http://www.mlb.com |

yea... we've been saying that for ages. .like 4 months now I think. But i'm not sure how close they are to a new mod. I'm kinda thinking about developing this myself. I think King is too busy and well...Nobody on my site wants to use the twitter plugin in its current form. They are excited about it but its not practical and they quickly stop using it. *shrug* I know King knows this... So if he doesn't have the time or thinks it will take more then 1 more month I really wish he would let us know. A lot of Mod devs have a schedule so people know when beta, alphas, and stable releases will be available. |
I've installed it but when i click tweet this thread or post i get the error
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /home/sites/ocean-wonders.co.uk/public_html/messageboard/includes/twitter.php on line 29 What am I doing wrong ?? Thanks in advance |

Contact you hosting provider for your server. |
I just installed the plugin and it is showing active in the plugin manager but there are no signs of Twiiter in the VB options nor are there any in the threads or thread tools.
I uploaded everything and I imported the XML correctly I blieve and I even un-installed and then installed again and nothing... I am using 3.8.2 with the default VB template. Help??? |
I checked everything and all of the files are in place and the plugin is showing active in the plugin manager and I even put in the manual template edits but still nothing.
I still have no VBtwitter in the adminCP except in the plugin manager, and yes it shows active and I still have nothing in any of the threads or thread tools. TOTALLY WIERD!! I may have to uninstall and I don't want to!! |
