oops, never mind. i used a different compression utility and everything worked fine. how embarrassing.

does this work with vb version 3.8.1

I can't find "My album" block on inactive blocks list, photo album is the major feature that any social network must have i think, i need some help please, i have download last 3.7.x version.

Hi army,

Create a style that matches your website style. You can look at your vB style within the AdminCP for help (like color codes, image locations, etc.) It takes a bit of trial to do it, but it is very doable. Once you do that, login to your Zoints Admin and set that new style as the default style for all pages for your members. You could even disable style creation/editing from your members so you can preserve that look throughout the site.

Hi TC,

Unless you have an odd server configuration that I am not aware of, it might be a simple mistake in what you are entering for your vB info. I know some time has passed between this question and the answer, but if you have not resolved it yet, open up a support ticket if you have not already and one of our engineers will help sort this.

Hey rick,

I just tried the file and unzipped it just fine. I haven't heard of any other difficulties with the file, so perhaps your download was corrupted? I would suggest downloading it again if possible. If your problem continues, let us know and we'll try to compress it in a different format, like a rar, for you.

Damien, we haven't heard of any problems with 3.8.1 and ZL. As always we recommend installing on a test site first before any major install, but 3.8.1 is not radically different from 3.7.x so you should be relatively safe.

pollitus, are you sure you downloaded the 3.7.x version? I only ask because we have the 3.6.x thread that is identical to this. If you have, open up a support ticket because that is a head scratcher. One of us will take a look at it and see what is causing that not to appear because you are absolutely correct in that the photo block is very important.

Thanks and that was very helpful, mentioning that Chris had the problem too. I found this in regard to his problem, but I will warn that it did not solve his problem... which could be different from your's.

Run this query, but only if you use the zp_ table prefix (do not do this if you do not have zp_):

Code:

SELECT *

FROM zp_module

WHERE FILE = 'mod_my_albums';

If that returns a row, that means the block is present and we'll go from there. If it does not return any rows, that likely means the install needs to be re-attempted as something went awry when you installed the first time.

Ok, i ran that query, and it didn't return any row so i guess that some file was missing or corrupted, i have tried to re-install the package from zero 2 more times, with out any luck. :confused:

Please open up a support ticket as I wish there was more I could do, but this will require one of our engineers looking further into it.

I don't have this installed, so I can't say if this will work, but have you tried disabling the plugins? It says on this page that it uses plugins, but it doesn't look like there's a product xml to uninstall, so try going into the menu of plugins (different from products) and disable all associated plugins. Beyond that, I don't know. This product is not supported, as it says on top, so I'd be careful...
