hi, when I try to change the Word "Donate" into "Spende" by "variables-(Styles+Templates)settings in AdminCp" then comes "help Function" and comments the smilie-function"when klick Donate...when I delete the translation,everything works fine....

Can I change the word " Donate" somewhere else?

The question is:

Is there anyway to show summary stats (x number of donations, $x dollars), but not list the dollar amount that each person gave. Some might not want their amount shown, either because it is very high or low, so it would be nice to show only summary stats (a little more than on the goal status bar) or list the people without dollar amounts, and then show the total donated by all.

One issue i am having after making a donation i add the user to a new user group, which in turn triggers a rank, but they do not get rebuilt. i have to rebuild the counters manually to update the ranks.?

Did you get a response to this? I also have a style where the navbar is in the header and whenever I add the $cyb_paypal_donate_link it adds the "Donate" link at the very far right of the page and skews the forum. I've looked in the template support posts as well as this post and can't figure it out.

It works perfectly on the original style but our default style is "Clean Blue" - any ideas?

I'm having the same issue, I had it set so that only the administrators group can see it (I'm an admin) and I get the smilies. So I added myself to the Super Mods group and tried it again. I figured out the solution to my previously posted question but then ran into this. I checked and the mod is definitely on. :)

Also, anytime someone tries to setup a subscription, when you go to pay pal, it shows subscription created, then subscription completed all at the same time. I have tested this with a second paypal account I have, and the same thing happened.

Greetings! Been using this mod for a while now. Recently, I found out it was messed up. Not sure when it stopped working. Anyhow...

Users can't actually make a donation through it anymore.

Couple stupid questions about subscriptions.
1. Do they auto-renew? (assuming they don't)
2. When they end or user ends them in Paypal is the user automatically removed from the VIP/donor group?

I got a weird Problem with this Mod. It works as in the Mod works great, no error and all, but it somehow sends people to the German language Version of the Paypal Site.

The Site from where i run this Mod is a .de Site, but the site is however 99 % English language. So in case Paypal would somehow realize that I am from Germany and then sends me to the German language Version of the Paypal Site I would understand, but why also when other people (not from Germany!) use that Donate Mod. Shouldn´t they be send to their own language Version of Paypal ?

I know that i set my Paypal Account language to US English but that seems to to influence the problem. People still get only to the German language Version of Paypal.

Has anyone an idea how to change that, because otherwise it doesn´t help me when most of the people can´t read the Donate form on paypal because its only in my home language.

I already asked Cybernetic, he also doesn´t know why this is happening. Noone seemed to have had this problem before. I just hope someone nevertheless can help me.

Does this plug-in allow automatic renewals for subscriptions? I have a PayPal business account, and PayPal does allow recurring charges, but I don't see that in this plug-in's control panel.

I would not have thought so as this is a donate system prob not to be used as signing up VIP's,may be wrong thou.

For a one-time signup, that would make sense. But given there's a subscription feature, what does the plug-in do when the subscription expires? Am I supposed to keep track of that myself?

When I go to the quick links menu, I don't see Donators on it. Can someone help?

I'm seeing a problem with this hack.

I'm getting entries in my donations page which haven't actually made a donation. I check my paypal account and there's no payment received.

It seems that if they click to donate but don't actually log into paypal, it records it and shows it on the donations page.

Does anyone else have this and is there plans to fix it?

That's how product works. All clicks on Donate button are logged.

Unconfirmed 'donations' are visible to admins only. User status is not changed.
Once you confirm they really donated you should update status manually on donation list.

it's still a manual process, I have not figured out why but usually after I confirm all those that are legit, I then go to UPdate Counters and run the Update user ranks and titles manually, to have the members get the correct user group........it used to do this all on its own

I downloaded and installed and found the link to place on my vbadv link panel. I click the link and it takes me through the steps to donate. GREAT ...

However I dont see any links in the admincp to view the donations - what is the link for that? Also be nice if could place a link to a list of members who have donated without showing how much they donated ... any hacks / mods for this ap?

Also, be nice if only admin could see the donlist showing $$$ - can that be controlled via permissions?

Same here. No reason why someone should know how much another member has donated.

There is option in hack settings to disable amounts for non-Admins.
