• linked to offsite divx file .. worked

seems we can't play videos from our server
I've gone through the attachments section of the admin, and checked the file types are there ....

Now that hulu.com (NBC's streaming video portal) has opened up to the public ... any chance Goldbrick can support it? There's a button to click to get embed code for each clip (even if you customize the start and end points.) Just don't know how to get Goldbrick to recognize and use that code.

i dont know if anyone say this before but when u put 2 or more image links on same line the [media] dont appear after each link
if i post 2-3 image i will like to see them on horizontal not on vertical its make the post empty

Hey man this is good hack but please before you keep adding features to it, move on from betta version by:

Making the standard features strong
sometimes you have to hit refresh to see the video, sometimes doesnt show but the url...

The templates on the style manager are all spread, put them on one categorie

That helps a ton to keep things in order

You can only do that if your host allows it.

I'm an administrator at a site dedicated to gaming, and we have our own videos site (http://videos.totalgamingnetwork.com). I've tried to follow your instructions regarding how to set up the Goldbrick system to allow embedded media from the videos site, and I'm at a complete loss as to how to get it to work.

I have, in my tinkering, figured out that a few things won't be possible with our current videos system:

1. It will be impossible to retrieve the video title, as the video title is not embedded as part of the viewing page window.
2. It will be impossible to retrieve the thumbnail, as they are saved in a sequential, auto incrementing format (eg. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) with no relation to the video id.

I tried setting up the plugin to use the player (on a video like this one, not the lightbox view which you get on the main page.

I'm at an impass; could someone please provide some assistance?

Also, I added a video to my profile page (vB 3.7 RC1) through my user CP, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.

On my site, embedding videos from videos sites works fine (IE and Firefox).
But with my own flv files (on my server), it works only with internet Explorer.
With Firefox, the player pops up but the file is not loaded.

My flv files normally work on my site with both browsers so it doesn't come from server nor site. I suppose a problem with the goldbrick script.
I read in the previous posts that ther was a bug with Firefox. Has anyone solved this issue?

Goldbrick works fine on 3.7. RC 1. Profiles will be fixed in the next release. I should have it out in a couple of days. Its just bug fixes so don't expect anything major.
