the moment i used the "/me" feature, my username was not visible throughout my forum, so i beg to differ here -- nor were other admins' usernames.

I was using MGC but now i have this well when i was using MGC i had it show on all my post pages and in my arcade page i want to do this again but its not working i added the variable like the directions said how could i go about this.

I added the variable to the arcade template but no worky so i didnt even bother to try to add it to my post pages.

Can someone help please?

I'd love to see an option where the chatbox wouldn't be visible to users unless they had posted on the main forum within x hours or days. I do have the minimum post requirement enabled, but would love to be able to make the chatbox invisible until there is forum participation.

Hmm, the only thing I wish is that I couldn't see messages from people on my ignore list. Other than that, this is great. But if it could say something similar to the regular message I see when an ignored user makes a post, this would be perfect.

Just installed and using the latest with 3.7.0 Beta 3 and its great though the only problem I have noticed is that when its set for admins / super mods / moderators to delete messages only admins can delete.

When you click the drop down as a mod the moderator actions delete all messages does not show but it shows for admins.

We have no super mods and our mod usergroup id is 7. Is there anything we can change to get mods the ability to delete shouts?

quite simple and easy to use..and efficient too...
but it lacks few features:

--size

--how to send shouts to specific usergroups only?
--how to delete shouts specific shouts?
--how to delete shouts by specific user?
--does it increase serverload compared to other shoutbox?

im having alot of problems with the placement of the chatbox. id like the box to appear directly below the last forum and above the "who's online" area. can someone in very basic terms (im sooooo new to this) explain to me how to accomplish this ?

I have a problem which i suspect has an easy solution but i just fail to find it...
I followed Cybs instructions of how to add the chatbox on vBadvance.
It worked BUT the chatbox on vb frontpage shows a permanent "Loading" and no messages when entered.The forum chatbox is functioning ok.
Please ,can anyone help me out ?

i agree, it is a great hack. im desperate to use a chatbox so i installed an inferior one until i can get this one working the way i want it.

my only problem is figuring out how to place the box where i want it.....

This is what you need to do :
1) Go to the Admin Cp Panel,expand the Styles & Templates group,click on Search in Templates

2) Type "FORUMHOME "in the search for text box and click "find"

3)On the left side a box will appear in which you will see "FORUMHOME". Double click it !

4)A new Template FORUMHOME box will show up. Find :

how do i change what the link in the navbar ? it says "chatbox full", id like to change that.

This Mod shows me an error when i click in an option:

"Internet Explorer cannot open the next site: http://forum.domain/misc.php?do=ccarc"

ACtually - just on top of every page when someone is viewing threads.

Clicking on "chatbox full",a new page opens with the chatbox expanded.Its realy cool.
Why change such a nice feature ?

Blank to show on all pages (not recommended because of server load)".........leave it blank !!!:p
