Right just re-installed this and it wont work on any styles other than a Nature one i'm using, any suggestions?

When I say work, I mean having the text show.

Okay the following two bugs have been confirmed.

IE returns javascript system error on certain sites.

IE has issues with the scrolling to the bottom of the div.

Anybody who has the javascript returning the system error please pm me any details you can about your setup.

A simple fix would be for everyone to just use FireFox. :D

Also, any word on the minichat addon revision to work with v3?

Minichat is slated to be done tommorrow.

With it now showing the ajax? We have come up with the fix for this one it was a php5 related issue and I will get an update out later tonight or in the morning.

nice, im waiting for the font face and color chooser :P
its too dificult read if everybody write with the same color and font :P

otherwise, i dont figure out the ie issues :S but, some of my users are still using ie :P

I have fixed one of the isolated ie issues now I just have to tackle the scrolling issue later today when I get some time.

Hi,

I have problems with usernames, which includes words like äöü etc.
If the username is like Härbör, it shows up so: H?rb?r

Same in the box, all text will show up with ??? if it is with äöü etc.

Also it would be possible to set off the use of smilies and bbcode?

If I'm on my vbadvanced page, clicking on the "chat" link in the navbar gives a 404 error. How can i edit that link so that it won't do that?

Also - I'm typing stuff, but nothing's showing up. I'm using this on vb3.6.7PL1 and IE7.

it's working for me, some users are having issues with the chat log scrolling though.

Hi Guys,

Did an install... all SEEMS to be working...didnt get any errors in any way.

Select Chat from the Menu bar... Chat window comes up - in a gray background.

I can type in the message box... hit send... but nothing turns up in the Chat window???

Any ideas?

I am running 3.6.7

It wont show up unless you refresh the page... or, thats how it is on my site. Kind of annoying, but I'm sure this will be fixed ASAP.

Sorry...thats not it at all on my site. I can enter text in the chat box...hit send...nothing happens. I have tried refreshing, etc..it just isnt there.

I can hot enter with no text in the Chat box... and it comes back as expected...no text entered. It does appear to be configured...

... I was wondering if this had anything to do with the manual config of the Chat.php (cant remember file name) where you alter the GMT time difference...

I had a very similar strange thing on mine.

If I typed a message it could not be seen in IE6 but it could in FF.

Now if I clicked a drop down menu like the quick links one....The chat suddenly appeared on the screen in IE.

OK... THis is very strange...

I had absolutely no text in my chat box after several attempts. I then put in a smilie in the box..hit return... and BAM.... all the old things I have typed just turned up.... very strange indeed....

What does this mean guys?

Running vBulletin 3.6.7 PL1.
Installed, asper instructions.
Click on Chat in NavBar, get message:
"Sorry, but the administrator has disabled your usergroups access to the chat."
What to do?
Nothing in EWT vBChat ACP settings to enable/disable usergroups. Can't find elsewhere in the ACP settings anything that allows usergroups access to chat.
In the chat_ajax.php what am I suppose to enter for User Configuration? Is that where I went awry?
I did update $datecut & $gmtcorrect to my forum's settings. -6 works for $gmtcorrect, doesn't it?

installed but have not clicked install because it seems to work fine in FF but not in IE no messages shown in IE but they do show in FF.

you have to edit your usergroup settings.. it's in there to give permissions.
