okay so I uploaded the files and the xml product page but I still can't see the "send a pm" row in users? Where did I do wrong?

I use it to send my moderators a PM from time to time (sometimes weekly). Any body ? |
It works successfully with 4.0.x !
We need it to be enhanced too: - usergroups to be deselected by default, or a (deselect all link). Thanks,, |
When I used this on 4.0.4 it sent out an email not a PM.
|
I was told this would work on 4.x,
I run 4.08. I just tried this, imported with no problems, refreshed many times, but still no "Send PM to Users" link in "Users" section. Very frustrating. I tried another Mass PM hack, https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showt...36#post2127536 it also doesn't work, see my comment. Would really love to have some help on this to make any of these hacks work for 4.08 I really need a mass PM feature! Help! |
Still working, on 3.7.2. Thank you. Needed this.
|
do i need to create a "upload folder" in my server? cuz im not finding that folder in the server. any thoughts please, thanks
|
ok, i created a "UPLOAD" file to the server(and moved all the files to the new folder in the server), then imported the XML file...ive refresh a couple of time, but still dont see the mass PM option in the users area
using 3.6.8 thanks http://carolinabroncos.com |
No you don't create an "UPLOAD" folder...
Some files go into your existing includes folder and the rest into your admincp directory- but you may have renamed admincp to something else when you first installed. |

you don't import anything at this point... on your FTP server you should have your forums folder... inside that should be both includes and whatever you called admincp
the file hn_masspm.php goes into your admincp directory so /forums/admincp/ basically The file cpnav_hn_masspm.xml goes in yoru xml folder inside your includes folder inside of forums, so: /forums/includes/xml Only after those two files are uploaded to the proper places do you import the product xmll file: product-hn_masspm.xml |

when I send out pm's to all my members I get this, why does this happen
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 41 bytes) in /home/exercise/public_html/forum/includes/functions.php on line 4010 |

How many users are you trying to send to? If it's a really huge number it just may not be able to handle it.

Working On 4.1.4
I used the post 215 mod to the Product and everything seems to be OK, I'm sharing that this product worked perfectly on vBulletin 4.1.4 Patch 2 regards |
thanks grate product
|
It still works with 4.1.12 Thanks,
but I wonder how it's still works in 4.x and it was made for 3.6 ! That also means, vbulletin ACP system has not change much since that date ! Could you make a version of it for 4.x so that people know it is compatible for 4.x ? Regrads,, |

I would test it thoroughly before I made that claim.
|
Love this mod, but were looking to let more users use this mod without them having the power of using everything in the users section. Anything possible for this?
|
Works for 3.8.4 excelent...
Thank you very much, nice job... |
Work to vBulletin 4.2.0 it is Nice:)
|
Perfect mod, works for vB 4.2.0, thanks !
|
Hi guys, So I've installed this onto my forum and I've just tested it but links don't come up as links. I've tried BBcode and also html but nothing seems to work. Is there something I'm missing? I've tried turning HTML on but it's still not done it.
Can someone help me please. |

Thanks for the reply mate, that works a treat :)

*please delete*

I use this mod, but it hangs after sending about 2500 or so PMs. Any ideas? Some kind of memory limit exceeded?
|
Maybe. I send over 20 thousand emails in one session , so I can guarantee it works.
Try reducing the number of emails sent at once maybe. |
Thanks, works great on vb4.2.2
