Installed, and works -- the problem though is a javascript error appearing everywhere but on the root of my forums:

if I disable the mod, then the javascript error goes away.

Slight problem.

I have had this installed for several months and it was working perfectly. In fact, my members LOVE this mod - it has to be one of the most bragged on items of my site. Last week I updated the site to VB 3.6.8. After that, I removed the previous version of this add-on and installed the new version.

During the uninstall I went step by step using the previous version install instructions. But I might have missed something.

When you click "preview post" the thumbnails are invisible. The thumbnails can be inserted inline, and they become visible. The remaining thumbnails at the bottom of the page are still invisible. When previewing the post, the "attached thumbnails" box at the bottom of the thread, where the thumbnails should be is very thin, as if there is nothing in it.


VBSEO is not installed on my site, however the VB site map generator is installed.

Google members map is not installed.

After your post, there were 3 newer versions of HighSlide published. By now, HighSlide is at version 3.2.10. Did you try the newest version? I'm still using your Add-on with the "ancient" HighSlide v3.1.10 and it works very well with vB 3.6.8. With vB 3.6.7, we already had the problem with the invisible Attachments when previewing a post (and that bug is still there), but that's not so bad, I think, because the attachments appear when you save the post.

I'll try the newest HighSlide-version today, to see if solves the "invisible-attachments-in-preview"-bug.

Read 32 pages so far adn I think I am missing something dumb.

All my fullsized images get resized to 280 width. Am I missing a vB setting, or is there something else I can change via this mod to get larger images on the pops?

Directions aren't exactly crystal clear....waste of time.

Install was a piece of cake. It's actually easier then installing Lightbox or Highslide without vB.

Not sure how you had issues MARKETPROOFFIITS.

Anyhow, it worked fine for me for 24 hours using the newest version of HS and vB 3.6.8 p1. I came back to it and now it stalls at preview. Anybody else having this issue. I know somebody mentioned it around post pages 15-23 but no resolution came up.

20 bucks is a bit steep for 24 hours of usage. :)

Weird. It works fine now. The effect is not working on my work Mac after 24 hours, it still works on other PCs. Not sure why it woudl work for a while on the Mac then stop, but it's not the scripts fault.

This would be handy for me, but not at the moment.

The directions are not very clear, so that what gave me trouble.

I had to decipher what the guy wrote on the directions and finally -- it worked on my end.

Pretty cool, but I'm not using it. Maybe later.

I spend 2 hours sifting through this thread... Find out that for some the mod works - for others no luck what-so-ever --- I was happy to install this mod thern came across one thread (about 4 or 5 pages back...) that stated the obvious clash with vBGoogle Membermap...

I was able to solve the problem by modifying the plugin "Highslide Headinclude & Initialization" as follows:

remove the first "\" in the highslide path. In a nutshell, originally I had

So weird.

I have installed lightbox and Highslide before on Joomla sites but never had this issue.

Some days it works a treat, other days it just sits there and says loading.
I disabled it for now and use Thickbox. :(
