Now after I upgraded to version 4.1.4 I cannot get the button to show again. Nor the link. I edited the plugin like you explained previously, and wanted to do the template edit you gave me here: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost....2&postcount=57

But the code is completely different in my current ct_info_button template.

Can you please help me to get this fixed again. Thank you so much.

Oops, and now I have this on top of my forum:

Code:

Parse error:  syntax error, unexpected '}' in /home/thebull/public_html/forums/includes/class_postbit.php(345) : eval()'d code on line 421

I had to disable this mod for it to go away. Please advise. Thanks.

Version 4.1.4 works fine on vbulletin Suite 4.1.12 without any change.

I suggest you restore the template addon and check the settings.
in particular:
Show infobox button
Forums to be View

Do you remember that for postbit_legacy is to be applied as suggested in the first post.

Regards

Open the file: product_infobox.xml

find

Code:

<dependency dependencytype="vbulletin" minversion="4.1.0" maxversion="4.1.9" />
change to

Code:

<dependency dependencytype="vbulletin" minversion="4.1.0" maxversion="4.1.11" />

not compatible with 4.1.12 version?

It would be nice not to have to change the maxversion.
Tagged will wait for an update.

maxversion="4.1.11" is normal the error

you can set maxversion="4.2.0"

Hey Asterix_ita
Do you have plans for making this mod work with 5.0?
This is a must have mod on my site and would hate to lose it if I decided to upgrade.

Thanks for all you selfless work on keeping your mods up to date.

Asterix_ita 07-24-2012 04:27 AM

If possible I would like to continue with the compatibility.

However, you must wait the release of vBulletin 5
