As for how to make it vbadvanced, I just followed sugguestion on this thread to copy source of forum home, then added/created a cmps "template" module in vbadvanced, and linked up my path names for scripts in copied source. It's not fully automated but it does the trick for now. I wrote a similar slider from scratch in flash last week, but this system runs better.

thanks for replying,
Please feel a little insecure and lost, I do not know where to start and what to do exactly.
Please help me set up your slideshow in my mod vbadvanced CPMS?
I installed the 4.0.2 vbullettin and was perfect and very good, light and functional.
Just wanted to pass it to the portal of entry, and do not know how.
If possible, do not want to be annoying and disrupt your topic, but could pass me a walkthrough or something so I can work?
I know that like me, there are many people and colleagues, and will be of great value your help.
Thank you and God bless

Is it possible that we can get it so that the images resize as well. I have mixtape covers that wear created at 800 x 800. It's just too big. I am saying for the cms. I am guessing it's possible using css. I just need clarification.

Great Work >>

I suggest vBulletin team to integrate this into the suite and the forum and make it capable of pulling the news from CMS articles or a specific forum ID.

Anyone who supports this idea; please post your support here in this topic.

This IS a great mod Thank You!!.

Is there anyway to make this slide show auto fit rather than use px. I can make this look fine to me on my 26" monitor BUT to people using a smaller screen resolution it would over run the sideblocks. see my pictures for what I mean.

Also maybe a scrollbar........

you change width in vb option bro

synseal 04-28-2010 07:01 AM

If I change the width in the vb option for it to fit for my screen resolution others with a smaller screen and a different resolution are complaining it is over running the sideblock as in my picture above. With the VB style settings there is an option to auto set the the style width, is it possible to do that with this or is it something you could add at a later date maybe, thanks!.

im sorry, it good for 800x600 or 1024x768 :D

Yeah, I broke down, duplicated the original images I created and adjusted sizes to fit. For me it looks good, just don't know about to other users.

still i am having problems, mod is turned on and not working on forum. the {vb:raw ad_location.show_slide} thing doesnt work either on static html.

I stopped trying to use version 2. It didn't work for me. I went back to the first version.
