Great Mod, Really like it, Been looking to add a Wiki for a long time
I've installed mediawiki and this mod this morning, all was going fine until i switched to the vbskin and now i cant access the wiki at all as i just get a white page, any ideas how i can reset to use the default wiki skin?? Edit: It is just with my username, if i goto the wiki as not logged in or logged in as another user its ok... Also, do you need to be logged into vb before going in MW? |
Can you still access the forum, or is it also a white page?
If the forum is also affected, it's possible that, when switching back, your username implicitly saved a style that does not exist as the default selection. You may be able to fix this by modifying the user via the AdminCP and selecting a valid style from the "Style" setting (right pane) for that user. You may still have problems if the user's session is still in the database, so you probably want to wait the 15 minutes from your last attempt, or manually remove the record from the database first. |
Hi thincom, I sorted it for now, I deleted the included skin and its files and all ok, But when I did get the blank page it was purely just the wiki, the main forum was ok..

Finally the gzip problems are gone!!! *HAPPY*
So gzip working, charset working... what now? |
Hey Bepe
I seem to have reoccurring issues I cannot resolve. C my previous post. U charge for installation? - I am stuck and I REALLY would like your work to function properly on our site. Sorry for the hassle mate - but I am pulling my hair out. Cheers |

Works for me :)
Now to work on the style to make it match my forums ;) |

It looks like you haven't even installed MediaWiki yet. Going to your wiki takes you to the install script. You need to setup MediaWiki before you try to integrate the two. Follow the setup.. entering in the database info etc... once complete.. move the LocalSettings.php file in the wiki/config dir to the wiki root. Add the code this to the bottom of it... define( VB_INSTALL_PATH, '/home/domain.com/public_html' ); require_once( "$IP/includes/AuthPlugin_vbMediaWiki.php" ); Import the latest product file.. and you should be good to go. |
