See attachment... the custom image paths are not showing up correctly even with a re-install.

Okay, those are no longer applicable. To see the image paths check out the StyleVars and look for ImagePaths. They are all default in mine with the exception of Item "Status Icon Folder" which is set to images/vb4_blue/statusicon

Can you see if yours matches up to that?

forumhome + usercp + pm these are broken with me. can i know if you going to update it or not please? because i really need to upgrade my forum to 4.0.2.

I also tried disabling all hooks to see whether this could be an add-on or plug-in conflicting with the style.

That doesn't help.

i just figerud this out. you have to revert all templates. and it's now working fine with me.
i think that's why he said it's working fine with him.

I did revert all templates - right after the upgrade. Still not working.
