I have a friend who tried to register to my site and this hack denied him. I know this guy is legit. How can I push him thru?

Seeing a bug/sql error when I try to re-order the log view on IP address..

Figure out what about his registration it didn't like. Go to the logs and look up vbstopforumspam logs. I use it all the time. This stops over 2000 registrations a day on my board

Just kidding. I found it.

I just tried to sign up for a test account and your mod told me i was a spammer, so I uninstalled it and found 20 members who it blocked and not one of them is in any Spam database including the Stop Forum Spam database. Your mod does not work!

vb4newb, check your settings. Do you have "Connection Query Errors" set to "Allow" or "Block" ? If you scroll down in the Admin CP navigation and click "Statistics & Logs" and then click the vbStopForumSpam log, you'll see why it's blocking their registrations... if it says anything about connection error or any error messages, then it's denying the registration because of the "Connection Query Errors" setting.

I maybe know what's the reason.

Something has changed since vb3. The Spammer uses Tools which automatically fill out all the fields on the website. But so far I can see, the Tools doesn't find the username field now. If you submit a test registration without the username, you will get also an UNREGISTERED in the Logfile.

So imho we can't do anything, because the spammer doesn't submit a username, so nothing to display in the Logfile...

Having an issue displaying Profiles. Have "Rebuilt Bit Fields" as explained in the Txt, and the bitfield is not present in my Includes/xml folder.

In the past 48 hours since installed, 13 of 13 spammer stops, no problems with legit registrations. Fixed our #1 problem.

Working fine for me. Haven't had one spam registration go through since I installed it 10 days ago, 15 valid registrations were allowed. At least nobody has written any emails regarding not being able to register.
