Tried that tried re-installing,cannot get this to work at all. Using 4.0.

Not work for me. i have vb4 last version.
sub-forum are in one line and leave the table outside of your board. I have it configured for 2 colunnas and in my admincp> deployed in the list of forums
i have the next options

hack is enabled, with 2 columns in settings.

Worked for me....

I needed to install it first... then do what "crazyace" stated:

I had to go to -> Forum Listings Display Options -> Depth of Sub-Forums -> and give it a number. I picked the max number of subs that I had in one area and that would be 5. This make it work fine.
