I installed this hack and it is working, bot i see that the bot is cheking from 10 to 10 threads starting with the first threads of the forum (my forum has 3 years old) and the first threads are inactive since a looong time.
( I have more than 30,000 threads)

Is there any way to start the check from a specified threadid and only for a specific forum?

Same issue here. After analyzing the code of dlc.php, it appears that the issue is the remote file which checks the mime type of the URL. It appears to no longer work.

I myself have failed at all of my attempts to make a similar mime type detection scrip for URLs in a GET request (or any files that are not local for that matter). I'd prefer not to have to save copies of web pages for such purposes, as that would greatly increase the workload of the server during the cron task, and I feel it's unnecessary.

I wish this developer would update the addon to include its own mime-type detection that just worked, and stopped relying on unpopular/uncommon APIs that add extra requests to the cron task.

It checks all posts in a thread. This has been an issue for me, as some threads may contain several hundred links on my forum, and would cause it to time out.

However, to answer your question, it checks all posts within a thread.

and what would be happen if it find a dead link in a post number10 for example in a thread .. it will be remove the links or move the Whole thread to the Trash section ?

Yeah, all it does is keep checking and said moving to trash, but nothing is being done, I recommend moving this to graveyard..
