Correct, I do not support this on any beta or RC version.

I wonder what the difference is between this and the 3.6 version, since I updated my forum and still run the old 3.6 version of this MOD with no problems.

Paul M 05-06-2008 12:50 PM

This is the main difference ;

v3.7.003 : Updated to remove potential $group variable name clash.

That clash breaks some of the vb3.7 social groups functionality.

Ok, so I just run this as an upgrade then or do I uninstall the old one ?

I only use it for forum home, maybe that´s why there are no problems.

Paul M 05-06-2008 04:24 PM

Installing this will automatically remove the old version.

Yes, the social groups problem only occurs if the "run code on all pages" is selected.

If you are not having any issues there is no compelling reason to upgrade.

It works fine using this vBa module. Add it using ACP -> vBa CMPS -> Download / Upload Module.

Thanks Paul, I've been using your mod for a couple of years now on 3.6 but now I upgraded to 3.7 and its been erasing the members at midnight even though I have it set to rolling 24 hours, it never did that on 3.6.

I uninstalled the old version and installed this new one, and I have it set for rolling 24 hours, as I did with the 3.6 version.

Paul M 05-12-2008 09:22 AM

Nothing has changed as far as that feature is concerned, I can see no reason it would not work, it works fine for me.
