I took my mod down. 90% of the code I posted (including the digits) is from the commercial addon. All I did was to adapt it to the vbulletin database.

I have been here since 2001 and I watched many talented coders disappeared thanks to parasites morons like you. And I am about to join their ranks.

Who will be the looser after all of us is gone? Certainly not me! I don't code for glory or for money. I am doing it just for fun and don't mind sharing.

u just ask urself the question: how would u feel if u wrote a code free and released it under GPL free and then someone comes along, adapts it for usage with vB or joomla and then starts selling it.

I dont support piracy at all but I am trying to make an important point here - that code released under GPL is free for usage but not for sale without the premission of the author which they do not have

I stand on my point because I believe in it and it makes me angry to see that someone elses work gets sold on a site with no credit given to them at all.

if u read on the mod site someone did face them with BOTH violations:
-stealing dynamic drive scripts
-stealing moofx and selling it

they posted a screenshot of the emails explaining that dynamic drive said 'its ok for them to use their scripts as donation ware' but the other people did not respond.

so how come the decided to go ahead with the realaese?

if it really is their code which they are selling then I challenge u to remove the mooFX files form it and see if the slide show works or not.
