windows xp, and i edited my above post....
no change mate, nothing...just a load of dots, as before.....

I have no clue at the moment of how to fix this... Try alsking your host since I have an intuition that it's caused from those cursed windows xp :p

Gizmo, by any chance do have that that "Transparent PNG files in IE" hack installed?

I was about to ask something like that! It appears that another hack is changing the source code.
Btw these images are 8-bit png files that do not have that problem with IE. The IE problem is only encountered in 24-bit png files. :)
