I believe it is the $prepared array you want, so I would try {vb:raw prepared.username} and {vb:raw prepared.userid}.

On top of my head, I think the userinfo array should be used.
So make use of {vb:raw userinfo.username} and {vb:raw userinfo.userid}.

Font size in the postbit does not bother me at all. Some people have problems seeing tiny font so as long as its not gigantic its fine. That to me is no gigantic. Nice colors & layouts and it loads...

Not bad although I think the font-size of the postbit seems a bit too big. Maybe try 9pt or 10pt.
The breadcrumbs could be lowered a little bit, it's a bit too high now.
