You do as Dave suggests & just crop it, you can also control the size of the image by using the proper sizing html ie... width= height= in the header, which you would have to add to the html coding....

The logo isn't cropped, it's 1500x1500 with a lot of unnecessary space around it. I would crop and resize it to something like a height of 200 pixels.
