That mod is broken as it checks the thread marking options that were removed in the newer vb4 versions, it's fixed quite easily if you edit the check out.

Because users must login 2 times on your website, you need 2 databases, ... what is also need 2 times. So, it is not convenient to have WP as your portal unless you can not have a CMS for your forum.
