So, you don't have to upgrade to PHP5.x. Im not a coder but you can find a PHP coder to upgrade 3.8.11 to PHP7.2 +....

I'm seeing a lot of decreases of users activity in this forum since last few years ago and got worse from last year. Till now you can see latest about 20 new posts gap was between last 5 days ago.
