Hi,
What VB is missing is the ability to disable PM for an individual user but yet receive PM from the Staff ( admins and mods)

I'd like to see something like this too. :)

I'll put something together tomorrow that will do this.

Sorry if this is a bit of a hijack, but since this particular request targets specific users, maybe it's related:
Is there a way of extending this type of capability to limit specific users' access to a specific forum - regardless of their usergroup membership?
I'm trying to find a way to have public joinable usergroups have access to a specific forum - that's easy - but occassionally, I want to be able to yank viewing capabilities from specific users without changing their membership to that usergroup.
Thanks.

You can do this via user access masks in the ACP

AH jeez. I searched for half a day for that.
Thanks very much. That does exactly what I need.
Sorry to have hijacked things.

I suspect Alan stopped when he saw the comment about access masks.

Probably, but thats what happens when threads get hijacked instead of someone creating their own especially when its a completely unrelated topic.

Something I did? if so I'm sorry, I was just wondering why no one has done this hack.
