I would like to see a "New Modifications" link in the forums/upcoming database. It would be similar to new posts but only show new modifications posted for the version I select since my last visit. Would make it a lot easier to find new offerings.
I'll second that request.
If I am visiting daily, I can keep track of new modifications through the portal list, but give it 2 or 3 days and there's a high chance I will miss some. :)

I like the idea! Having an option also to find ones for version 3.5.x would be nice as well, as not everyone tests / updates the version # on their hack.

Yes, I like the idea too. Btw, is there any way I can help developing the hack database, or the developemnt is limited to official staff only?

As far as I know development of the Hack database is limited to the vBulletin.org staff.

Well, that's not very bright. If they used a few advanced coders, the process would go faster. Oh well.. :(

13 members out of the staff here are coders ;)
And I can't speak for the others as I've never seen examples of their work, but I'm sure they can also code ;)

Yes, and you are forgetting that several long-time vborg members, who were serious coders, have now been inducted into the vbulletin dev teaam itself :-p I REALLY think they would know what they're getting into. Probably more to come considering the time it took between the last two o.o

Yes, I know about this.. I don't wan't new posts. I want new modifications. Most of the new posts are for replies to old modifications.
I want a single link that I can click and see that there were 3 new plugins, 6 new template modications, 2 styles, an extension and 3 code modifications released for vBulletin 3.5.X since the last time I visited. I don't want new replies, requests or any other thread without an attachment on it.
I like this idea, I'll pester the code monkey (Xenon) about doing it next time I get a chance to speak with him. :)
