Logout Link

i cant get this to work, this is the code i have

<a href="login.php?$session[sessionurl]do=logout&amp;logouthash=$bbuserinfo[logouthash]" onclick="return log_out()"><? echo"$vbphrase[log_out]" ?></a>

but this just takes me to the forum, and doesnt log me out

also this is in a non vb page but is using global.php, i dont know if i have to add anything because of that?

any suggestions would b great

at the mo after it logs out it goes to the forum index, is there a way of getting it to return to my sites index
