Table bbcode?

Is there bbcode, or something, to permit the creation of a basic Excel-style table in a post?

Edit: this (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?p=771152#post771152) looks interesting, although I have not gotten it to work.

Looks like it would get the job done, but it's pretty clunky.
