Restrict ability to post URLs for new members? [Archive]

Forum spamming is becoming a real problem as my forums grow, but I don't believe I can restrict new members from posting live links with membergroup permissions.

Is there a hack for preventing users from posting live URLs with less than x posts?

I believe there was for 3.x but it's a been a long time since then...

Okay, I already knew the following hack didn't work on 3.5:

It doesnt work like I'd like it to, new members arnt allowed to post any links and I only want it to restrict live links :disappointed:

I know Webhosttalk.com has a hack like this you cant post links with less than 5 posts.. I would like to see this too..
