Is there a mod for this?

Is there a way to create a blacklist protocol so that one member wants to block an other member so he can't read/see threads of that user. So in the opposite way as the blacklist works now?

The Ignore feature works the other way around...If I put somebode in the ignorelist I can't read his/here postings. I want it the other way around...If I put somebody on the blacklist, that person can't read my postings...

There is no hack of that kind that i know of.

I am interested in something like this myself. I use the forced ignore hqack for the moment and it works but an Admin needs to add the user to forced ignore list.

It seems like the concept would also work by creating a profile field where a user could add userids of members that they do not want to see their posts and then with perhaps a little regex help (because the posts are cached) we might be able to allow a user to block a member from seeing their posts.

This would be a bigger project but I certainly see the value it would add to a community.
