I am sorry if there is something similar to this already. I have been looking for an hour and haven't found it.
Anyways, what I am looking for is a hack that will allow you to see who posted how much in a certain period of time. I would like to run contests for my users who post a lot. I would like to be able to look and see that Member A posted 47 posts/threads in a week, Member B post 75 posts/threads in a week, and so on.
Maybe make it where it can be changed (the time frame) from a day, a week, a month, etc..
TIA
Anyone?
Please??

I don't have a hack for this, but I have done the same thing on a separate web page that pulled the info from the database with a query. I haven't tested it though since I upgraded to 3.5.
It's a pretty simple query, but if you don't know SQL this would save you some time. It only pulls post totals though, not thread totals...and it's not dynamic - you'd have to manually change the dates in the query. Not optimal, I know...but I only needed it to show stats for one month at a time, so it worked fine for me. My intentions were always to go back and put in drop downs to choose month/year...but I never got around to it.
If you're interested, let me know...

I'd be interested. :) I only need shorter time periods--a weekend at a time.
Please post your query...I know I had one ages ago and cannot find it.

I have this and will be happy to post it HOWEVER, since I upgraded to 3.5.1 it doesn't work. There were name changes in the new version (i.e "DB_site" is now just "db") that affected it. I've posted in a couple of places on vb.org and vb.com and have emailed support to see if they can tell me a list of changes, but I haven't received any responses yet. I did find a tutorial type list but there wasn't anything in there stating what might have changed in the new version that was affecting this hack.
What version are you running?

pardon my ignorance, but what exactly does that mean? Will it be part of the next release?
