Not sure if it is a plugin I've installed or not, but somehow I've borked my Private Messaging so that users whose usercp permissions allow private messages cannot receive private messages, from admins or whomever.
The following errors occurred when this message was submitted:
USER has chosen not to receive private messages or may not be allowed to receive private messages. Therefore you may not send your message to him/her.
Anyone have any ideas?

Users can enable/disable PM's on a user level provided their usergroup can recieve them. If you are unsure, go to the user manager and have a looky to see if they have set to recieve PM's in their usercp.

3.5 Gold. You mean private.php (could not locate pm.php anywhere)? No changes to that file.

Can you login again and reply to my PM? The issue may be related to select accounts.

Resolved. A Secondary usergroup was set to not recieve PM's. Flicked it over to recieve and it now works fine.

Dumb assumption on my part about how this overrides - thank you very much though!
