Hi folks -

I've been tweaking our vbulletin board for some time, and am getting it close to where I want it. I could always use more suggestions, hints, and tips of course.

It's 3.0.9 right now, and I have a few hacks that haven't made their way to 3.5.0 yet, so I'll probably stay where we are for the short-term. Some of the mods I'm proud of include the header code. It automatically pulls in a selection of pictures from an array of 160 different club images. Users can choose via a pull-down menu how many pics they want to see in the header, and how long a delay between cycles (default for guests is 5 pics and 15 second rotation). If you click on the small pic, it pops up a perfectly sized large pic of that image; click that large image and it immediately goes away. I also like the Moto News section; I've managed to hook up motorcycle RSS news feeds to always have current moto content on the site. As soon as someone replies within that forum, the thread is automatically moved to a discussion forum, and any threads with ADV in the title are also automatically stripped and moved to a trash forum.

I'm not ecstatic about the default style; I have 5 styles for folks to choose from including the default vbulletin one; I prefer the darkest one but some of my members are adamant about having a mostly white background with mostly black text; hence the current setting.

I set up a demo account (demo/demo) if folks want to view the places that are open to non-club members but still require registration. I'll leave it open for at least a week or two.

Looking for suggested improvements, comments, raves, thrown tomatoes, etc. Thanks for checking it out...
