View Full Version : KirbyDE - I KNOW you can do this... vBAdvanced CMPS
Since you know all the dirty tricks, I was wondering if you can accomplish this.
The install process of vB Advanced CMPS requires a couple of file edits to the global.php file.
I got it to make a couple of the changes through the hooks but they're not coming in correct ly.
Maybe you can fidure this out somehow...it would be greatly helpful.... I HATE FILE EDITS.

1) Copy the contents of vba_cmps_include_template.php into cmps_index.php above the call for global.php; delete vba_cmps_include_template.php afterwards
2) Modify vba_cmps_include_bottom.php according to readme.txt
3) Import the attached product XML
Done.
No support given at all, but this has been tested and confirmed to work just fine on several installations.

Regards,
TobiThe current versions of vBa Gallery and vBa Links don't require any file edits.
Brian does know that already; posted it on vBAdvanced several weeks ago :).... and I've been bugging him about it. ;) But this method seems to have problems when CMPS is integrated into other PHP scripts so I think he has something else up his sleeve.
