vBPad for vBulletin 3.5.0

Hi, Everyone,

I'm sure that this has been requested before, but has anyone thought of converting Firefly / Chen's vBPad Hack (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=29760) for vBulletin 3.5.0? My members have old vBPads that I would love to be able to just import on over for their continued use. It's probably one of the most functional hacks from the vBulletin 2.x Era, and I believe strongly deserves to be converted.

That gave me an idea of a simple way to do it.

Add New User Profile Field

Multiple-Line Text Box

Searchable: No

vBPad was more than just a field; users could dynamically create as many vBPads as their usergroup was allowed, could store this information separately from the User Profile system and could dynamically access and pull from it.

Yep, vbpad was a kick butt system, I used mine sooooo much.

I too would use this feature alot, it would be great for custom smilies, codes that you used alot, etc. etc.

I'm currently working on a simalar thing for vB 3.5, I'll take a look at vbpad and see if I can write a converter when mine is released.

Not having VB 2.2 though, I don't know if I missed any features out. I'm open to suggestions anyway.

This hack becomes very handy for my board, especially for my todo list. :p I'm gonna make this hack in some time. :)
